Molly is an F1 cavapoo which means she is a first generation cross between a mini poodle and a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. These little spaniels were bred in the day of Royalty to sit in the laps of monarchs…and hopefully attract any fleas so that the people did not contract the plague! This created a calm little dog that is happy to sit and snuggle up on a lap. While we see that the cavapoo like our goldendoodles still love to go for hikes or adventure they do love hanging out with someone and being showered with attention. Like all spaniels they do shed so that is why its beneficial to cross them with poodles.
