Bella Mini Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles of Alabama

ALDoodles - Mini Goldendoodles and Berendoodles
We are Joe and Renee Bellafato.  We lived in Chelsea,  AL for 23 years and have moved a little farther out to Sterrett, AL in 2021.  We are located on quiet country farm of 17 acres with our horses and dogs.  We enjoy several outdoor activities and enjoy taking our dogs with us.  Thats why we have gravitated to the smaller doodles.  They are much more portable!
Joe does have dog and cat allergies and that led us to the goldendoodle.  He had mild reactions to the first generations but does really well with our later generation doodles.  We have since learned a good bit on the topic and have had great success placing puppies with families with allergies. I have always enjoyed working with animals and worked as a Veterinarian Tech through high school and college.  I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Biology.  I now work as an Independent Contractor as a Biologist.  I enjoy looking at canine color and trait genetics.  I really enjoy taking that information and creating the best possible Doodle.  I enjoy selecting for unusual colors and certain hair traits. I also like training our dogs and like to get AKC obedience titles on them as well as train for tracking.

Raising goldendoodles started as a hobby but as our client base grew from referrals and happy customers we have grown by incorporating guardian homes.  Like our home page photo shows, many of our family members live with the dogs in our breeding program along with friends and neighbors.  That means that our Male Doods and female Doodettes all have families of their own and are not kenneled.  It would be very unusual for us to have an adult dog that needed to be rehomed.

“Our mission is to provide families with the highest quality doodle possible. Our business is based on referrals and we want our clients to be happy with our Doodles!
